Not really much of an event, but a warning. Im (Finnaly) moving to Perth. Been gonna gonna gonna for ages, but work has given me the thumbs up for a transfer. Very Excited about this, so anyone around the Rockingham Area, lock up your doors, seal your windows, lockup your cars, Some Bored Dude is comming.
The long drive for the Wagon starts December 4th, Engines been all tuned up, so its better on fuel once again, but my diff is really vibrating now, but couldnt get a replacment intime, so I've got to live with it for the trip down. It's been allright (so far) So if anyone has a Disc-Disc Rear diff to suit a VL Wagon (At the moment, dont care if its for an N/A, Turbo, or an LSD, I just want to drive the damn thing without worrying about the rear diff going out from underneight the car), I'll be intrested... Very Intrested.
In the mean time, and Cruises or stuff happening around Christmas Time? Keen for a cruise around some Real Cars... Without the red dust on them

That diff sounds allright.. if the housing's striaght, ill take it. my housing is bent, but my axles are fine... ill just pick up a center somewhere and make the mofo a new one

i got the diff from a wreckers and i was going to replace the one in the car but my mechanic said he'll just repair my one and put the discs on, so im not too sure what its condition is. outside looks alright tho....
Ok, looks like we got a few, I'll check them all out... mines just the standerd 28 Spline Disc-Disc Diff, for the VL Turbo (so got the 'think-and-hard-to-get-axles') and beeing a wagon, hard to find one... i got good axles, but my housing is twisted, and not to sure on the contidion of the center... bit of movment in it tho
but after the amount of k's its done, it's a suprise the engine is still in as good condition
SOME BORED DUDE you can have the housing and ILLUSIV you can take the axles i guess? (But like i said before, im not sure on the condition and youd probably have to take them out yourself). Up to you guys.
What prices do you have in mind?
Arrived 3:30 sunday morning, all is well, only an RBT outside gingin, and now my speedo seems to be out of whack (100km's on the road = 160 on the speedo) - should make for an intrestring drive around till i fix it
