Hey Guys & Girls,
Just wondering if everyone would like to post a pic of their car and then list the suspension they are running??
This will be helpfull for everyone looking to lower their car, as we can see what different setups look like.
Regards
Dave

Gday Dave,
I am in the process of doing this as I had to remove the cut springs and f@#ked struts/shocks as the cvnt i bought it off decided it should be lower than low. I have purchased KYB Excel -G gas struts and shocks ( lowered ) and also ordered lowered king springs, will be here on wednesday, so may be a few days before i get it all together, and then I will post the pics for you. It will have -
Front - KYB lowered struts, lowered king springs, proper bump stops to suit
Rear - KYB lowered shocks, lowered king springs.

Kewl, looking forward to the results MickyMac.
When you say lowered king springs are you refering to Super Low King Springs?

No, just lowered, superlow springs in my opinion are to low for practicle driving and comfort, recipe for breaking more crap under car. Lowered kings are about 25-30mm low i believe.

Pedders sports ryder suspension. Lowered around an inch or more according to pedders dealer. A coke can fits be a little less than half an inch under the car

Very Nice Dragme... What sort of money did you pay to get that setup? Also are they 17" rims? And do you have an adjustable panhard rod. The car looks very clean to mate, well done!

Using pedders red springs front and back, 30mm (hockey puck) spacers in the rear, and adjustable panhard bar, guards lipped, 1-2mm clearance on front struts, with 19x8 tyres and 245/45 tyres all around.

It's actually the same as 17"s, scrubs about the same.
With someone in the back it touches occasionally, but with a full car load it would be pretty bad.
Suspension was very very basic, $300 tops, just springs and spacers really.
Had a panhard bar when I bought it.
I'll put some pedders extreme springs/shocks in the front, as they use a small diameter coil which is awesome for big rims and they are also fully adjustable.
Quoted $1200 for the fronts.

Thats a sweet looking ride man ay . Did you paint the car that colour or was it that colour when you bought it? I used to have a mate that had a car a similar colour to yours, and it used to turn head where ever it went!!
I have 17's with 235 rubber on my VL with standard suspension and when I have 3 people in the car the rear left and sometimes rear right scraps pretty bad. It is starting to scrap into the wall of the tyre. But I have been told that it is because the wheels I have are the wrong offset for a VL..?
