Ok, I've done a search and seen nothing I can relate to. My car is stalling at random, only when I'm slowing down at lights, cornering, stops signs etc. It doesn't run rough or anything prior, if I'm not turning I don't know it dies (I know when turning as the steering becomes really hard). So far I've only noticed it at operating temp and when slowing down, so far each time the clutch has been in. It's had the CAS replaced with a genuine item in June and the plug looks fine, plus I've had CAS problems before and it's not like that this time, once it dies it will kick over straight away with no problems. As per another thread I have corrected the lines to the carbon cannister but the problem has been there before and after doing so, so that's not it. All other hoses, plugs, brackets on air intake etc look fine. Apart from this the car runs well and has no driving/performance issues, it goes as it has since I purchased it in August. Any ideas what it could be? Cheers.

May be a long shot, but check if sumthing is grounding in the engine bay. I had a loose wire that when going around corners or uphills would ground on the dipstick and stall the car. NRMA it was presumed as being the CAS, but the symptons were weird when we drove with the spark box. Then was cranking the car over in the carpark, i noticed a spark... we traced it and moved the wire and it started up no worries. Could be a long shot but worth a try. But i would be probably checking some sensors first

Well I think I may have found a cause. Was checking a few things out and found the no2, 4 and 6 spark plug leads were loose, actually they were only just sitting in the plug slots, don't know how any spark was getting to the plugs at all. I noticed 6 looked to be sitting out a bit, grabbed it and it came out with no force required, put it in properly so the contact clicked onto the plug and it sat firmly and took the usual force to remove it again. Checked the others and 2 and 4 weer the same, 1, 3 and 5 were fine. I'll see how it goes after the next drive, see if they come loose again or not. I also found the lip on the end of the intake pipe that mates to the TB has been cut off so I'm a bit sus about how well that seal is. I'll replace the pipe to be sure.

Well I found yesterday it did actually seem to drive a bit better (smoother, better pickup). The way the leads were sitting, they weren't actually sitting with the contact locked on the plug tip as they should be, but they were close enough that a spark would get to the plug, so who knows, car didn't play up at all, I did a bit of heavy braking to try to make it do it, but it wouldn't. Haven't touched TPS at all, see how it goes over the next week or so. Thanks for the tips so far.
