The one way valve on the brake booster is not faulty? It holds vacuum into the booster for easy pedal feel and assistance.

I would say your booster is shagged.

yeah it seems that way when your sittin in the car n push the brake pedal in u hear this gushing air sound n the revs of the motor drop so the motor near stalls is there a test i can do to b certain if the booster is stuffed?

The one way valve is the flat grey thing thats at the end of the hose connecting to the engine. You could do a few tests such as run the engine at idle for 1 min. turn it off and pump the brake pedal to see if its still got vaccum assist. On a working booster 2-3 pumps and the pedal will get hard. On a shagged booster, it should get hard right away or within 1 pump. Good vaccum boosters tend to hold their vaccum for upto 30 mins afterwards as well. Definately sounds a vaccum air leak related problem as the engine is stalling because its swollowing too much unmetered air and the combustion formula is wrong.

Wouldn't be a bad thing to upgrade to a 1 inch master cyl while it's apart, if it has the vlt brakes. Might give a slightly better pedal feel.
