Quote: Dyno Sheets to prove 8psi/297rwhp 14psi/340rwhp that's odd...... 44hp difference from a 6 psi increase. still very good figures, the car looks brilliant too. a good buy from the sounds of it!

Power does seem to drop off as the boost increases 297 / 8 = 37rwhp/psi 312 / 11 = 28rwhp/psi 340 / 14 = 24rwhp/psi ~357 / 17 = 21rwhp/psi..... where as that turbo should be getting to the the fat of the efficency island. Any internal work ? Rego ? Engineered ?

yeah strange with the power, it was the first thing I noticed. Still it makes more power than mine at the same level of boost although mine is single cam head and standard plenum. Looks great though I don;t think it'll be too long before it sells. good luck.

with the boost/power thing there's probably something restricting it like exhaust, cooler piping but you'de be getting really serious if u wanted any more power than that from the 6, lookz good, i like the mod list, good luk with tha sell Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

pplz this is horsepower! not kilowatts... plus there is always restriction and the exhasut isnt one of them, 3 inchs is just right for an rb30t depending on where the 3 inch starts and finishes is a different story... it sounds fast but not that fast JuZi...and you can get way more power from a 6 lol they can be pushed harded than most 8 cylinders...any way there are faster VL t's out there..

slightly off the topic. that blo747, is that the car that motortech built in wollongong. if so, how is the car running now ? i know it did make some decent hp (420+rwhp) a year or so ago.

The car is going great, I brought the car around a 1 1/2 years ago from a bloke that worked at motortech doesnt have the 420rwhp, sold it with stock turbo and so. Just sold it to the brother of gun-30t. ill post some pics up when he gets some new wheels. Now with new plates RUT-03Y, the blo ones will be going onto the next project. If anyone knows any more history of the car let us no.

the car did make 420rwhp on 22psi with race fuel a few years ago thru an auto (i seen it just before the tune). i knew a mate of the owner. there was apparantly some words between the cars owner and the workshop in regards to money and the workshop ended up buying the car. must have kept the engine and sold the car with a stocka. the workshop has done quite a bit of work on vl's in the area and they all seem to go alright. never got to race one though, that was a shame.
