I bought a second hand TO4E,the guy I bought it off gave me an internal wastegate with it.My question is,is it safe to weld on a little nipple onto the cooler pipe outlet pipe(there is no nipple on the compressor housing for the waste gate acuator hose) so I can connect the hose to a pressure source, or would that be to far away.He didnt really explain how he had it set up or how I should.O rshould I just bite the bullet and buy an external wastegate?I would much apreciate aome peoples thoughts or ideas on this. Cheers. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Just pick up your source from the pipework!

the problem with that is if you blow a hose off, your actuator wont get a signal and the boost that the turbo makes will skyrocket.but you wont know cause the boost gauge will say zero
