just got a pm from John with the final details of the cruise so this can be the final roll call for everyone interested... BOOK IT IN YOUR DIARYS PEOPLE! November 28th meet at homebush at 10:30 to leave at 11am.. This will be the meet point for everyone, easier that way. SO homebush car park (same place as the other CT cruises have been ) carpark location is on Australia Ave, sydney olympic park, homebush bay. I am pretty sure it is carpark P-6C from the map I am looking at. (cnr of herb elliott av, park st and australia ave. Basically coming from Homebush bay drv, go left onto australia ave, past the hilled grass area (i think has the olympic rings on it) and underneath the bridge. It is almost in front of the Olympic Park train station. It is the carpark closest to the road on Australia Ave. if you can find the train station the car park shouldnt be far away. route will be something like this: Leave and cruise along king georges rd until reach M5. Head southbound along M5 ($3.30 toll) until we reach bowral exit (about 1 hr) Cruise throught bowral (quick stop to group everyone together). Head left at the end of town (i think!) and along some road (dont know the name lol i'll have to find the map!) which we follow for about 20 mins before we reach Robertson pie shop (end of town from our direction) where we can stop, grab something to eat and talk vl's for awhile. Follow the road down Macquaries Pass and link around to the bottom side of Wollongong. Cruise up Princes Hwy where it is an easy run back upto Sydney. We can also turn the route around (down princes hwy first), and back the scenic route. I'll have to find the book (Gregorys 4 hrs around Sydney, great drives, etc was something like that. i think it may stilll be in my vl) and post the correct roads for you. further details will be posted but at least everyone has an idea now of times and what not Newcastle members... meet: 8 am twin shells at wallsend just at the start of the link road leaving at 8:15am sharp... anyone that is late can catch up on the freeway please make sure you have a full tank of fuel Central coast members... Newcastle members will roll through the wyong twin servos at around 9am, we wont be stopping, just passing thru to get you guys (thats if there is anyone from the central coast lol) any further details will be edited into here so please keep your eye on the thread... i got a vlct today, if i have a manual licsence by then il be there in it, otherwise il be in pauls car or scott will be driving mine.
