Okay, it's 4 AM and I'm bored ****less... and I haven't posted here in a long time, but that's okay because I had an idea. Some people take their spark leads off when they leave their car as an anti-theft method, only problem is that spark plug leads are easily replaced by theives. But what if you took off something that the *******s probably wouldn't have a replacement for, like the CAS? The CAS is four wires right? So couldn't you just cut the wires and make a clip, so you could just unclip it when you leave your car? Just a thought...

yep! i am bored as well.. heres my 5c Put a huge dildo in the front seat when you leave and I am sure you have all seen this option made available only in south africa? "If you're concerned about auto security, don't be satisfied with the wussy little Club or a car alarm. Get the best of both worlds -- and add some offensive capability into the mix to keep things interesting! Universal Electronics Co. sells the AutoTaser, a device which ratchets to your steering wheel just like The Club. The AutoTaser contains a motion detector that sets off a 110- to 130-decibel alarm when an intruder enters your car. If the thief doesn't get the hint, the AutoTaser zaps him with a 50,000-volt charge. $249.95. In South Africa, they take things one step further -- OK, maybe more than one step. Seems that in Johannesburg there's a bit of a problem with carjacking. 33-year-old entrepreneurial genius Charl Fourie has invented and begun installing a device called the "Blaster" which consists of, well, let's be blunt, twin flamethrowers. The flamethrowers are supplied by a trunk full of liquid gas and are ignited by a spark. A nozzle under each door squirts out flaming death when fired by a pedal next to the accelerator -- turning Mr. Hey-you-know-I-think-maybe-I-want-a-Lexus into something they might have on the menu at the Johannesburg Steakhouse. Fourie has already installed his clever device on 25 vehicles -- and his first client was the Superintendent of the Johannesburg Police's crime intelligence unit. If you're reading this and you're a South African carjacker -- for God's sake, move to LA, where it's safe. 3,900 SAR (South African Rand), or about $655. "

You don't realy want to pop your hood to "immobilise" your car because they might see you with the hood up. How bout you disconnect your ECU?

unfortunatly due to our wonderful legal system over here giving theives an electirc shock will get us sued/in jail if it kills them, even though they are in the wrong. id love to have someone steal my vl when it had no brakes. find the car crashed with them trapped in it. now that would be justice for me. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I like the idea of modifying your ignition barrel so that you have to turn it anticlockwise to start it, if you turn it the other 'normal' way a massive metal spike comes up from under the front seat. ok who wants one lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

peoples there are lots of options, how about installing a push button under the carpet some where, connect it to the reverspolarity diode, only way the car will start if u press the botton and then kick the car over, other than that the bitch will never start! just an idea! heaps of different ****, but if they really want your car they will tilt tray it! just make it harder for the ****ers i say! i like the flame thrower option! but then there's the time the misses is shouting at u at your window and u press the wrong button and crisp her arse :P hjeheeheheehehe

There was a real good article, which some of the the things about johannesburg, in a ralph magazine. They hooked up a lead from the battery to the chair to shock people, the flame thrower thing and a heaps of other things. A good one was to get a bottle of vodka and fill it with poison and put it in the glove box. You'd probably get done for manslaughter for that one over here if you put enough poison in to kill a person. Probably not a good idea. But over there they can strip a new BMW down to pieces in minutes in the "chop shops" they have. One lady got held at gunpoint and carjacked out to the middle of no where, he got her out the car and held the gun to her head and rang someone on his mobile and asked his boss what colour the BMW was meant to be. Lucky for her it was the wrong colour and she was freed. Its pretty bad over there in some areas people will just shoot at the police on sight. The cops get paid ***** all, they have to pay for their own fuel and bullets and its really dangerous. There were other anti theft methods like blades that went under the door and cut offenders legs and poison gas that filled the car after about 20 seconds. Most of the car jackers will more than likely just shoot you to get you out. There is a guy who just tracks cars with satellites and gets them back by force if he has to. Most of the guys who are into that type of retrieval business/police all use sub machine guns. So its pretty hardcore over there. My friend was in his car in the city in adelaide and an aboriginal guy came up to his window and asked for a light then pulled a broken cruiser bottle on him and took his keys out the ignition. Cut a long story short my friend ended up beating him repeatedly in the face and then the security of the club he was working for came out and help fight off a few of the extra aboriginals that came along. The carjacker ended up getting pepper sprayed and still tried to attack a female police officer who quickly kicked him to the ground. Apparently he was screaming for quite some time. Open facial wounds (club lock) + pepper spray. When you think about it getting your locks and ignition smashed up isnt that bad.
