G'day guys, I have a VL Turbo 5 speed (all genuine) and would like to completely rebuild the motor to suit a high power output-application.. I dont want anything too drastic, I'm aiming to get 300rwkw. Who should I get to build the motor and mod it/tune it? Anywhere in Cairns, Townsville or similair would be good. Anyone on here from around that area ever had this work done? Thanks heaps

I`ll give you 2 options... Bob Hawkins at Chiptorque Greg at Extreme Motorsport i had my motor fully rebuilt and assembled to standard specs for 1800 thru Repco

Yeah im from townsville, and i've had my rb30et rebuilt, but i got a friend to help me with the re-build. If i was going to get someone else to re-build it for a high hp application I would go to repco, im not sure on prices though ... could be expensive Dean

I can suggest LS1 Hyperformance (4951 0433) in Mackay, he does a few of these. Saw one at the Mackay Motor show this weekend that he tuned, did 413Hp ATW. Looked stock!!
