cant get more then 17 pounds with t04/66 70 comp 1.00 rear was running 20 pound made 410rwhp ive tried everything takin cooler piping off had the standard crossoverpipe on blocked wastegate took off my muffler made 370rwhp on 17psi comes on real slow as well have rang around noone sems to know why its not boostin i took the turbo off and put a .84 rear on it it now gets 20 pound but no more any help will b appreaciated thanks brendan

400hp at the rears, that's probably 460-480 at the engine..... maybe that's the limit of the T04 you have? god knows, they're not the best turbo out there, and most of them are rated at 500hp i believe. perhaps you need a bigger turbo?

i would agree with ya if i was gettin more boost but the 1.00 rear should make more then 410hp at rears

your expecting too much man.i know of 2 cars that have t66 turbos , 1 made 410rwhp and the other made 440rwhp they both have run 10 sec passes

should still run more boost wether making power or not, check your wastegate out, sounds like a weak spring

did you check if your cat is blocked? Or is it gutted? Check for boost leaks in the inlet manifold etc, any squeeling noises under boost?

Put on a gt3540 if you have the funds

Thats true, boost is not limited by your housing, however the turbo's effiecency is. A T66/T04 combo would be capable of some massive power, much more than 400rwhp, especially with that large 1.00AR back on it. 500-550rwhp would be obtainable if the engine is up to it.

cheers felas think ive found the problem was the bloody wastegate spring even tho i had a huge spacer inside it to hold it tighter ill give that a go and see what happens only thing is i have to wait ages to get a spring for my trust wastegate ill let yas know how i go
