Okay, I don't want to get ripped off (again) - what would be a semi-reasonable price to have; - Front Springs, supplied and fitted (brand new ones). - Supply and replace worn outer tierod end - re-tension/repack a wheel bearing Cheers. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Front struts on a VL are a pain in the arse to work on, due to the way the castor rod and tie rods connect to them. Would have to be the worst design ever... I always pay people to do the front on mine, not worth the frigen around they cause. In saying all that, mechanics will charge about $50-$60 per hour. So how long does it take..... A couple of hours + parts King Springs about $150 Tie Rod about $35 + Labour @ 2 hours $120 =$305 + GST What about a wheel alignment, you will need one if they change the tie rod end??? an extra $30?? So yeah i wouldnt pay anymore than $400. Mick
