hey guys just found out my diff in my sle is screwed and i got a vl diff from a calais just wondering if it will bolt str8 up or not ???

Not being smart, try a search. As I would assume that yes it would fit as VB-VL are pritty much intachangeable.

yeh i have no results buds but coz its a v8 im finking it might be different ????

It will fit but you need a shorter tail shaft, my mate has 1 here, hed swap for you 10 bolt 1

no, hes saying u need a shorter tailshaft, and his mate will swap his tailshaft that will fit ur vl diff into ur vb.. if that made ne sense?

mate has a vl turbo diff in a vc v8. fitted up almost stright up, just had a tailshaft made i think.

he will swap his shorty tailshaft for ur longer tailshaft... god that sounds wrong

you need to grab a tailshaft out of a vl. I used one from a 6cyl auto as it was the first one i found at the wreckers. Then just unbolt them at the middle and swap the rear section from the vl shaft onto the front section of the tailshaft you have already and thats it.
