Hey guys. Does any one know where i can hire an SS for my school formal, i've checked a few of the noraml hire car places, but they only offer statesmans... I would really like to go in a Walkie or a sweet VLCT , my GF just wants to go in a SS, (Vr or Vs would be great, or a VY or VZ would be cool) so is there anyone who would be willing to do it for a reasonable price? or know somone who would? Not much luck on the LS1 forums.. or Street comodores for that matter... any PPL's with VLCT's wanna offer?

my mate has a VS SS and I own a VL BT1. They are both white have both been worked over in the engine a body areas and both go like the wind. I'll send you a photo of the both and we live down on the central coast. Let us know roughly what dates etc and we'll see if we can work something out. You never know maybe you can get both cars for the price of one.

Formal is at noah's at newcastle. on the 17th nov. We'd need the car for approx an hour, 30mins to get there plus photos... (and obviously plus driving time 4 u to get here) The VS SS is definatly the preferance (girlfriends decision) but its last minute so we'll take what we can get... pic hosting at www.imageshack.us (http://www.imageshack.us) simple 2 use, no sign up, just upload then they give u a link 2 put in the forum.

It now has two autometer guages on the bonnet.

Mate im sold on the BT1, but not quite enough mods for the GF i dont think. I'll ask her tho. Any photo's for the VS? Could I get a quote for it? I've had one quote so far for a VT SS for $75.

I realise your running out of time so I will try real hard to get a picture up tomorrow of the SS and I'm sure we could also do it for $75 or even a case of Jim Beam cans. Tell you girlfriend that the SS sounds bloody tough but when the VL hits 2800 rpm she better be holding because that's when the fun starts. I'll get back to you as fast as I can.

Yeah girlfriend looked at the BT1 an said no... she just doesnt apreciate the subtlety of the VT SS rims an cooler hanging out under the front bar.... Her face lit up when i told her about the VS though.
