Hey guys I searched your forum for answers but cant figure if i could replace my springs which are standard on my 88 vl with vy ss fe2's. and what would that involve if i could? I also had a really fun time putting in my deck to a vl. apart from the 30 mins of smashing the s*** out of the old one to get it out i had to make my own ground and memory since there was problems with the existing wiring due to age. haha. Cheers guys any help is appreciated

No you couldn't do that, the springs are way different. Plus the VY has IRS, so there's not a chance of them even being close to fitting.

Cheers mate thanks for the advice. Do you happen to know about what price i could pick up some springs that are quite low since chopping is a bit of hoax. Also im confused about compatible shocks. I need to buy new shocks if i get lower springs right so what else do I look for when buying shocks and do you know approximate price?
