I dont know if it would be that simple. the rims are alloy and still have the balancing weights on them.
The vibration is pritty bad, but the ball joints look good and there is know movement to them when you jack the car up. Nothing looks bent underneath the car.
There is a rubber worn out on the rod that gos from the front sup to the end of the x member???(drivers side). The one on the other side of the car is fine.
Flat spots, unijoints, shocks, wheel allignment, irregular tyres, steering column.
Im guessing your experience the shakes through the wheel? I'd get it checked asap
i got new 17in rims. Ever since then above 90 - 100kms the whole vibrates, but not all the time, have wheel balanced and aligned, never did this with calais rims,
not stealing your thread, just sounds simalar. I also need new susp. Have been told that all steering components are workin good. (shrugs)
I'm gunna put my spare 17's on today and see if that helps.
This isnt a VL it a VK I picked up yesterday for $500. Aparently one of his mates took it out spotlighting, when it came back it had this vibration in it .
If its unfixable then fine the running gear (253 black, Auto) will just be transferd to my VL, as the original plan for buying the car was just that.
Thanks heaps guys.
