I've never heard of rods for under the $2k mark. For $700 they would have to be suspect wouldn't they? Mick

duz360 I take it you are using S/J chev 6 inch rods? How much will it cost you for machine work?

i bought a set of chev 6" 327SJ rods for $550 brand new for a set of 8 if your orderin pistons then order them to the pin size which is 0.927" that will save u alot in machine work, then all u gotta do is get the rods fitted to the crank i got a quote from cunningham ova in the states for custom rods 4340 steel was $195US per rod and another $40US each for rifle drilling titanium is $485US per rod and $80US each for rifle drilling so that equals bout $1990AUS for 4340 + shipping and bout $4780AUS for titanium + shipping NOT BLOODY CHEAP!!
