Well i bought my vl for 3500 not registered heres the specs.
300kms
VL SL Exec pack
n/a 5spd
aircon + powersteering
Group A front bar
Calais side skirts
sony cd player
2x kenwood 6'9s (old school **** ones, one has died had to put a different speaker in lol)
tacho dash
16x7" bechham r mags
spoiler of some sort
metal pedals
lowered lovell suspesion (2")
lovell panhard rod
Now as soon as i got the car, i got it registerd and a saftey certificate,
took it for a long drive to see if i could find nething wrong with it,
found a few little things, took it to my mechanics the following monday,
ended up getting a few things fixed including:
tailshaft
low beams
parker lights
high beams
handbrake
flange gasket
after that i decided i wanted to add a couple of things to the car, a sub + amp and a woodgrain steering wheel (loved these since i was 12),
i know some people dont like the woodgrain steering wheels, but ive always wanted 1 and i like em .
i ended up getting a 12" clarion pro comp 600watt sub and a clarion 200watt amp for 600 installed from auto barn,
i also got the steering wheel for 80 and tried putting it on and it wouldnt go on,
so i rang my mechanic and hes like u need a boss kit idiot.
(me being car illiterate) so i got a boss kit for 80 and that fixed my confused little mind.
pics: sub, amp and steering wheel.
Now i have recently put a heavy duty exedy clutch kit and got the flywheel machined for $400 fully installed.
(been told these clutches can handle 500hp from some1 off this site?)
Now ive got the engine sorted out, few minor things fixed,
i can start on fixing the little things that piss me off, just have to get a job haha.
But yeah still dont no what i wanna do to the n/a engine,
i DONT want to sell the car to buy a vl turbo, id rather do the conversion,
or jst buy a cheap vl turbo and swap everything over and sell the rest for cash witch wouldnt be such a bad idea,
or there is mrstockys idea of the sc14 supa charger,
but yeah bit of a dream atm haha.
Anyway guys thanks alot for reading this, love ya rides, ive learned alot from this site! cheers.
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
