The wall panels on mine have a block of wood drilled to the false floor, then its drilled onto that.. See attached. Maroon is my car, Obviously the boot floor is the bottom piece, and on the side piece its the tyre well or something around there.. The grey is my false floor.. And the side piece. And the black pieces are the chocks that are there to let whatever be screwed in.. Screws go horizontally.

A tech how to would be nice for this, measurements, joins etc. My boot carpet is filthy and stinks, I want to replace it once I sort the leaks out, which I think I may have now. A how too so I could go out and buy what I need and knock it up in a couple of hours would be fantastic. Looks so much better.

The wood on the side is teck screwed to the floor using some 'L' Brackets @ the bottom and the top is teck screwed into the body right under the RHS seatbelt roller thingie. There is no false floor, all i did was get some like marine carpet (which has a hard back) and traced around the old boot mat. All up, excluding the wooden side pannel cause that was liying around @ home the new boot carpet cost me $40, and i still have over a foot square left.

The sub box is a trianlge shape, all i did was sorta puch it up onto the diff hump at the back untill the front of the box was vertical the tecked in the brackets. Thanks for the info, I have enought now to do my boot. My carpet is crappy, boot has had a few leaks so it's been pretty wet so pongs a bit, plus it smells like someone has spilt a heap of gear oil in there. It's very dirty, and not worth cleaning in my opinion. I've seen the marine grade carpet, with the rubber backing, and it looks good, should do the job well. Plus with the rubber backing it should sit in place and not move around like a normal carpet can do.

make ya own box it doesnt take long. if ya make it the right size you wont need to anchor it down. The side board can be screwed straight to the flair thing on the wheel arch and then held to the ground with an angle bracket.. Very easy to do, the hardest part is getting off the couch and leaning over the boot (back gets sore)..

Forgot to ask, with that big arse gap in the boot seal, does it leak at all? Mine has a split at that join and I've found where it goes around the bottom left corner it pulls away from the boot, like it's too small. I was thinking of cutting the seal at the join and spreading it outso the seal sits well all around, I'd end up with a similar gap, and since I've had heaps of leaks in the bootspace that are all now sorted, I'd hate to have it start again.

Howdy, mine had a leak in the top right of the rubber near the rear window. Nothing a bit of silicone didn't fix but. My boot rubber looks fairly new.

Cause i thought about it. but u need special specs like volume n stuff for the sub to perform properly. and it seems hard to calc. The funny think is that im doin year 12 ??? I think the sub box has to be bolted down no matter how well its made. Mine was made to volume specs but It's a really weird shaped box.Almost Trapezoidal But yeah I'd recommend making it yourself if your half handy with a tape measure and zigsaw.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

No specs, I was way too slack to do it myself. If my car sells and I have to rip it all out again I'll measure it. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
