if you're made sure the oil is topped up and the bands are adjusted properly, sounds like its rooted, cheapest way to fix it is to buy a new one! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

the oil is topped up, i checked to dipstick for the trans. what can he get done to fix it for a quick fix to handle 190kw

If it's rooted, then there's no quick fix for anything let alone handling 190 kw. Make sure of your dipstick reading though, because they are a **** design and give inaccurate readings most of the time.

dont trust the dispstick, put another half a litre in it and see how it goes. if it still shagged then get a rebuild

you cant expect a stock jatco to handle 190kw for ever might be time for rebuild

yes it shoudl be half way between the two lines when cold and on the full line when fully warmed up.

it probably doesnt have too long left if its still playing up just a word of advice, don't over fill, as then the oil gets aerated and it can almost be as bad as no oil at all. definately get a trans cooler...

im not sure if a standard rebuilt auto is supposed to handle 190kW, ur very lucky that it doesnt slip now, i think the trans cooler would lower the chance of it slipping under power cause the cooler the tranny fluid the thicker it is
