if you are handy with basic tools and aren't a complete idiot, i suggest getting your auto rebuilt and purchasing a $66 stage II shift kit from paul keas. he will mail it to you, and if you ask nicely will provide info on exactly how to fit it to your transmission. this will save a transmission "specialist" from charging you $500 to do a 2 hour job. alternatively, get the rebuild done by keas and you won't have any problems.

i work at a tranny shop ' i advise to get it done properly ' but if u do it ure self make sure u lay out ure bolt in lines as there are different lengths in them ,if u put em in the wrong spot ul have problems .and as for getting it done with a rebuid or not 'do it with the rebuild.

Sweet, thanks for the info! Another thing Im worried about is burning my engine, thats what I got told could happen if I get a shift kit?! Is that true, can I damage the engine by putting a shift kit in my auto (stage 2)?!
