I know it has been done before, but does anyone know where the best place to get the HP3 cam from, SURECAM sell them but they are $275, and I thought a few guys where getting them for $150 - $200 ish A Chiptorque dealer from Sunnie coast quoted $190 but had to check stock and never got back to me?? And does anyone know the tolerances of how much they machine off the Rocker Shaft Supports?? and is this relativley easy to do as i have access to a milling machine. Thanks RJ Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Very hard to hold the lifter blocks in the mill. You need to make a jig. Less than 2mm machined off. It depends on how much the cam is ground.

luke, i know this is going over old ground, but whats the biggest grind you can go without having to machine rocker plates?

F*#ks me. lol. Nah I haven't tried so I wouldn't know. Machining the lifter bodies helps to fix the rocker geometry as well so I always recommend that.

Yeah $150 is to grind a cam you supply whereas $275 would be to supply the cam as well.
