My VS park brake light all of a sudden is staying on, even though the park brake is down. Not sure what it is. I can't tell if the park brake is still on, or if it just the light staying on. Would it have anything to do with maybe the brakes being low??? Thanks AsH

The park brake light operates off a little switch mounted on the side of the hand brake itself, pull out your centre console and have a look at it, maybe the switch is buggered or you have damaged your wiring and its shorting out. I have my whole hand brake mechanism out at the moment because the button fell out! its a ******* to fix.
