VL TURBO NEVER BOOSTED! well its time, the time ive been dreading, ive been put on immediate standby for the airforce, which means i can leave at any time before my official date of 22 febuary. Im also selling it because I never get to drive it, as I continually work up north, it sits in my garage week in and week out, and the odd occasion I bring it out. Also as i said im going into the airforce in febuary or maybe before that and I dont want it sitting around when someone else can have some use of it. --Registered as a turbo and permits for for engine, pod and blow off valve --RB20DET Conversion running standard 9psi. --RB20DET 5 speed gearbox --HKS Blow Off Valve --Heavy duty clutch --K&N Pod Filter --Cold Air Induction --Huge Polished Front Mounted Intercooler (mounted but not piped up) --3 inch mandrel bent exhaust system front turbo, high flow cat, high flow muffler, stainless dump tip at muffler, 3 inch dump pipe from turbo. --18 VY SS Rims, brand new tyres --Custom Black Console with missile switches --Turbo Timer --Legally Lowered --Slotted Rotors at Front with bendix ultimate brake pads --Brand New Blue Pearl Paintjob --Dark Tinted Windows --Autometer Gauges --Sony Sound System --Brand New steering wheel and boss kit --Custom Door Trims --Very Good Interior --Brand new Calais rear lights --Brand new front lights and indicators --SS Group A Grill --Very well looked after car, immaculate condition, will suit enthusiast. alot of the guys here have seen it, its pretty good. This car since being fully modified from a stock vl to a vl turbo piece of art has had a very easy life, sitting in the garage hehe so be assured this is a nice piece of machinery. 9500ono im thinking this is a resonable price considering ive spent over $14000 on it, ive never boosted it, hence no boost controller as i wanted it as a cruiser not a bruiser. if u r seriously interested (no dreamers and no test pilots) pm me or ring me on [phone removed] or my home number is 92483449 thanks guys SHAUN and as i said no dreamers and no test pilots

why dont you take it with you. i noticed in your other thread that you were going to get another VLT and send it to RAJAB. instead of that why dont you just hang on to it and take it over east with you because youll get free transport through the raaf then send that to RAJAB because at least you know what condition your car is in. but upto you dude. for a free good word this is a tuff looking beast that has the go to go with the looks.

What are you joining the RAAF as? I'm considering getting out in the next 12 months, too well set up here to pack and leave, and I'm nearly out of time for how long I can stay here. They can stick Katherine, NT up thier butts. On another note, how does the new windscreen seal go? I have some rust in mine and the panelbeater I'm going to said they have a universal kit for them now, pretty much the same seal as VT onwards. I still don't know why they changed it, no earlier models seem to have rust issues do they? I've also founf the problem to my reaer window leak, just near the top left corner is a nice 5cm rust hole, I bought such a great car, NOT!!! All I need to do is find the source of the water leak and I should be right to leave the hole, have put rust converter on it to stop it "growing". Had a good lok yesteday, and absolutely no evidence of where water could get into the roof area, it's above the window seal so I'm sure that isn't it. Sorry for crapping on, good luck with the sale, I'd be more inclined to keep it and have it shipped to your first posting out of Wagga, don't take it there but, too many ****s that'll do stuff to it simply out of spite and jealousy.

Hi Shaun.. I'm Disturbed's older brother and live south of the river.. I'm looking at buying a done up commodore either a very clean sweet looking VL Turbo or a bombed VH SL/E V8.. Dan rang me and told me you had it on here for sale... and must say it looks and sounds like it's in mighty fine condition. I used to own a VH SL/E V8 and Dan can vouch for me when I say I used to look after it like nobody ever would! .. Used to make people even wipe their feet b4 they got in... changed oil and serviced it regularly and everytime i took it out id listen for anything that might sound not quite right.. I was very fastidious in every aspect of keeping that car clean and running A1. We're meeting with the loan people on Monday.. and if everything works out good I'd be looking at buying a decent commode sometime in the next few weeks. If yours hasnt sold by then I'd love to come and have a look at it if you gave me your permission to do so.. I really need a decent car so I can go on the cruises with Dan and the rest of W.A's fella's . Anyway.. I talk too much! .. If still available in the not too distant future I would highly consider your VL for my next car.. Cheers and thanks for your time.. Domin8(Stach) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

seats are in good condition, ive got custom seat covers on them as vl seats tend to show their age over time, the turbo is stock yes, but when the motor was put in, it was all checked and everything is sweet with it.

Sounds great .. also when the front mount gets connected.. will that enable me to turn the boost up some?.... also if it had a boost controller.. P.S. Cant wait for the next pics and video Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

domin8, about the cooler, i got quoted $250 to pipe up the cooler using 3 inch stainless steel from throttle body to cooler, and 2 1/2 inch stainless steel from turbo to cooler, all tig welded, thats by prestige exhausts, im not sure if thats a price he will only do for me as I fitted his new hydraulic lifts in his workshop for free and he does favours for me, but ill see what i can do.

Thats cool Dan was saying it'd prob cost atleast a few hundred to get it piped up properly. Your car has alot of potential!! i will say that .. With the new paint, sorry for another question,.. but is it painted in the engine bay and on the door sills and inside of the doors or just the outside?.. Your cars sounding better all the time .. what would you think if i bought your car.. if i got the VY SS rims polished up? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

no the car isnt painted inside the engine bay or the door sills, but it was dark blue before so you can hardly notice, i was going to get the vy's polished up, i got quoted $70 a rims by VINCI CHROME PLATERS IN MALAGA, they do a bit of that, but if you want the vy's chromed up they do it for a whopping $250 a rims!
