hey, i drove my car for a good hour the other day when it was 32 degrees, and by then i could hear a pulsating buzzing sound coming from the back of the car so i figured its the fuel pump, if it is does that mean its about to die?
it always makes this sound but is normally much much quieter
my car is doing this as well i thought it might of been a hole in my exhaust or my diff was gunna blow omg, few, i hope u r right, how much for a new fuel pump ya recon?
well in that case i hope its one of the ones thats loud and lasts, my alternator has been making noise for the last year too so it seems i just got one of the noisy ones, lol
thanx a lot, i'll let u guyz know if it dies, uter vl n/a fuel pumps wouldnt cost that much at all, especially if u get second hand one but i'de wait till it dies incase its got a couple of years left still
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
Most of them make noise, especially as they get older.
Also if there is extra backpressure on it it will get louder as well.
Make sure your fuel filter is not blocked or restricted.
