Pretty sure you can do that without changing engine management....never done it before myself, but logically it should make little to no difference to ecu

It will depend on how big the high flow is? If you get a high flow that is rated at 400-500hp, almost the biggest you can go. You will off course need larger injectors and aftermarket management. A high flow turbo will force a greater amount of air into the motor, so 6psi on a highflow might make the same power as a stock/factory turbo on 12psi. Because of the bigger wheels it can force more air into the engine and also do it more effieciently. You need to remember a stock/factory turbo maxes out the injector duty cycle on about 14psi. So if you want more power from a larger turbo, you will need more fuel as well. There is little point to putting a large high flow on, then running low boost because you dont have enough fuel for higher boost that the turbo is capable of running. You can get the factory ECU remapped for slightly larger injectors, but your best to go full aftermarket management. Some people will say a rising rate regulator might get you some more fuel out of the factory arrangment, but that will all depend again, on how big your high flow turbo is. Mick
