Well i blew my turbo last nite and the damm thing caught on fire well the manifold did was huge flames coming off it cause oil was hitting it so time to replace it i think.I know ive searched for removing turbo and found some useful information but what i really wanna know is can it be done without removing the exhaust manifold some ppl say it can and some say it cant be done? ive got pretty much a hoist to do my work on so would it be easier to rip the exhaust off then the 4 bolts off the turbo and the oil/water lines then drop the turbo out? or go the the trouble of ripping off the whole manifold which is a pain in the ass job. thanx guys Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yes it can be done undo the power steer compressor , and bring it out forwards much easier than taking the manifold off
