Hiya All,
I've got an older non water cooled Garrett T3 with external wastegate and I'd like to know if it is possible to replace my existing compressor backing plate, wheel and cover with one of a VL T3?
Can it be done and is it a straight swap?

almost every part is interchangeable on a to4 , just depends on wheel size/crop and comp/exhaust housing etc , so i dare say it could be done on ur t3.
strip it down and have a look at it.

Thanks for the reply, but I haven't bought the VL T3 yet, as I'm not willing to part with my cash until I know that the compressor parts from the VL T3 will fit my old Garrett T3.
Thanks again, but I'm still left in the same position of not being sure whether or not it can be done.

u can pic up a dead vlt t3 for like 100 bux , a couple on here at the moment even
just grab it , and try the swap.
