hey guys, ive done a search but there is nothing really related. anyway i just converted auto to manual on my n/a 1986 Berlina using the MF5 box, when i go to crank the starter just ticks! i soldered the purple wires together on the relay closest to the battery, i just cut the wires inbetween the relay and the plug and connected the two relay side ones together and the two plug side ones together is this right? The two plugs on the gearbox are connected up to the white plug near the firewall. If anyone has had this problem or knows what to do please help cuz i hate getting the train to work, hehe. Pics would be good too Thanks Brad

Sounds like it could be a starter motor related problem. Check the connections on it and also give the solenoid a bit of a tap and see if it will turn over then. I had a similar problem with my Calais last week caused by dodgy wiring connections.

why dont u have a look at your battery, or try a jump start. if u have had the car sitting for a while (week or more) with the battery terminals connected, it can loose its charge.

Are you using a manual starter motor?
