my friend is building up an rb30 woth a hiflow t03 and he is not going to have an intercooler during the runin period. willl this be fine on 9psi? also should he take it to a mechanic to get the timing belt and everything lined up before starting it or is it pretty easy to do it on your own? he also wants to know if you need any of the hoses going from the plenum to the crossover pipe and the elboe near the turbo to the rocker cover or is it fine to close them up? thanks

the timing belt isnt the easiest if ya dont know what your doing but god news is that theyre a free running engine so ya cant smash things. the timing belt will have two lines on it to be lined up with a dot on the cam and crank gear. these dots will be 53 teeth apart. make sure u tension it properly so that u can sorta turn the belt 90deg with your fingers

i would be running it in on about 6 or 7 psi without boosting it too much for at least 500Km
