Just wanting to verify something that i heard recently, is it true that you can get a $500 fine for a boost controller?

I think you can if it vents, put a line into your airbox and you should be ok.

my trick is to hide everything.make your car look as stock as possible.out of sight out of mind.bov's are the classic case.everyone gets pinged for their shiny bov sitting proudly in the engine bay.mine is just after the cooler and painted black.the cops dont see it.and i dont get fined

i really dont get the plumb back bov,the air will just blow out throught the airfilter anyway.they talk like it gets consumed by the engine again.it doesnt

heres a fun trick. Piss off the bov. Then undo the clips on your air box lid and go for a blast.... the lid goes *flop* *flop* *flop* *flop*. Super exagerated flutter, acutally makes you think you broke something until you work out what the hell is going on....
