We have a VP series 2 Commodore which we have just recently built a worked V6 for and fitted and we are fitting the VT disc conversion to it as the front discs are shot and peform like bicycle brakes with the new engine. The car has ABS brakes ,it has a heavy duty booster unit standard but only a 15/16 ABS master cylinder which is different to the standard unit, it only has 1 outlet leading to the ABS unit to control the front brakes then it branches out into 2 from the ABS unit. I was wondering if there was an ABS 1 inch M/C available for this car? I didn't want to adapt a standard M/cylinder as the brake preformance is really crucial for safety. It is really a question for the brake section but the car isn't a VL.
