Hay boys well on friday the 1st of october, my car was @ highpoint shopping centre and was brocken into. It was one auzzie guy about 5'11, 6'0ft drivin a white vl with dark bumpers and plastics all we could get was the letter
E 356 on his plates. Unfortently the cameras did not see much. Around $300 in change was takin (which im not fussed about) my autometer monstar tacho (sport comp black face) and the key to my wheels. It happined @ 6:00 as we cought him in the act but he had his car runing and took of quickly. If anyones see's something help would be appritiated. Or if anyone can get cheap tacho's that would be another option i guess. Also yes i does have an alarm it was goin off its head but do you think the public care? cheers for any help boys.

Sorry to hear about the break in mate.. You'd think that some one in the public would be decent enough, that when they heard a car alarm to see what was going on.
u passed this onto cops. they still might do something with a partial number plate. do a fake rego/owner check at vicroads like your buying his car. read out the plates and say the first few letters are scribble and you can't contact the owner. if you get a nice operator they might search and tell you who owns it. just have a fake name and address and **** so hopefully they give you the correct details or report his car as stolen LOL. this is just my idea, i haven't tried it.

Thats pretty harsh man, did you take off in your car after him?
Be on the look out for him, i reckon he will come back for your wheels if his cunning or stupid. White VL with dark bumpers, shouldnt be too hard to find. His probably from the area - put an alert out before he changes the plates or ditches the car.
If i were you ide register the incident i with the police, explain that your car has no insurance, etc and give them the rego number. Play it up a little bit and perhaps say that other VLs in Highpoint have been targeted by a similar car etc.
If you want to keep your VL, dont drive it to any shopping centre. Its a Car Theifs shopping centre with all these cars around and no one to look after them.

You do realise how many combinations of letters we're talking about here?
he will come back for the wheels.
just be on the look out around that area for his car, ive had more luck finding people looking for there car, than any other way.
i will have a look out aswell
yeah we are talking about only having 676 possibilities in all of victoria. then you figure out how many of those are on white VLs and you might get back 10 most. its better than not doing anything.
boys cheers for all your help. i did notify the police @ the time of the crime and gave them a detailed report. since then i heard cameras have been put up in that area and i went to see them myself. upstairs where security record you can see perfectly were my car was parked. im not sure if the police can be bothered looking up these plates! so that is why if we all keep out an eye we can help one another. thanks for all the support @ least thats all he took. I still have my baby and lets hope karma looks after him. thanks again guys.

yer sorry to hear but ill also keep and eye out as i live about 15 minutes from highpoint ... and seeing how dumb he was maybe theyll be on his car anyway hope u find him and ill be watchin as well

Had my car broken into on sat while i was at work. Found door adjar and open, seat whole way back. immobilisor in fuel pump and engine stopped em as they started it but couldn't move. Wish i had caught whoever it was i would have gone ****in nuts if i got my hands on em.
Funny thing was i had my discman and 20 cds in the govebox as well as ripcurl sunnies and they didn't touch em.. weird. I was lucky sorry to hear about you
