Hey guys, I want to replace the bushes in my car and rather than do this one myself I thought I'd leave it to the pros. Anyhoo, went to one place and he's doing up a quote to replace them all with polyurethane bushes. I went up the road to Pedder's and he reckon's polyurethane is **** because the ride is harsher and they squeak so they only use rubber. What do you guys reckon, rubber or poly? Cheers

ive got all poly bushes (SuperPro) in the whole car, cept front sway linkages (to keep a little give in front). Thats bull****, they don't squeak, car handles very well and its not too tight I kept standard rear sway btw. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Isn't it true tho that because the polyurethane bushes are stiffer they would actually wear out other parts quicker then rubber ones would?

thats why u be careful of which ones u leave rubber. But thats a sacrafice u make for good handling, ur car is stiffer so of course its gunna be putting more stress on other things but hey.
