Hes asked me to put a post up on here in case anyone has seen this car since September 28th. I'm sure he would be more than grateful if anyone could provide any leads that end in its return to the rightful owner. Sadly I believe hes been the victim of professional thieves, but one can only hope it was an opportunistic crime. The cars specs are as follows: 1987 HDT LE (VL Turbo Calais) Dark Blue / Silver lower body Mint Condition. "SV 89" 16" HSV rims. Plates "HDT 300" Car was taken from a padlocked shed in Bassendean Early Hours of Tuesday 28th September

It is currently being driven by a 'P' Plater and the car has new rego numbr so chances are that the car has been 'rebirthed' by the crim assh*les that took it. Picture link is on this thread. If you spot it please take down the registration number and report it to myself or the police. There are a lot of features on this vehicle that makes it unique and I know every one of them. Hence I know this is mine. Was spotted by family and friends but they were unable to pursue it. Suspect that driver is a current student of Morley Senior high School or somewhere in that vicinity. Reward offered to information leading to me getting it back.

i'd take a day off work and have a look through the highschool carparks near that area.

Apparently it looks in one piece and 'mended' to hide any indication it was stolen. The drivers window was smashed when the theft took place and it appeared at quick glance that this was replaced. I would say, whatever was broken during the theft (eg. steering column / window) was fixed for the re-birth and sale. I am currently overseas right now but will be back in 14 days. Will be taking long drives in the Northern suburbs to try and spot her. She *Should* be in one piece from what I've been told. Looks like they sold it to some 17/18 yo. Its been spotted 3 times (confirmed sightings) in the past 3 weeks. This hopefully may lead to the perpetrators. Need the kid's (and probably his dad's) help as they would appear to be 'innocent' parties to this if they purchased in 'good-faith'.

good luck dude any news! i suppose all the HDt tags and tower have been damaged if u recover it can HDT give u a new build plate etc..

My niece spotted her on the Roe Highway in the evening of 11th January heading North/West (Perth). It appeared the back spoiler had been ripped off but she wasn't too sure. Given that she drives a pissy Laser, she couldn't get close enough to get the Rego. The plate light was out. I guess my car will turn up somewhere and someone will recognise her again and hopefully I'll get her back. Finers crossed!

i often go up roe highway everyday, and i have a lower kit and my car is light blue (not dark though ) might have got mixed up .... but like i said i go up there everyday, so ill keep a look out for it too
