ok the question i have is is there any difference between a N/A and turbo brake booster bracket where it bolts to the fire wall, i know the bracket on the front where it bolts to the strut is different, the reason i ask is cause holden told me there is no difference, now i have fitted mine and the shaft doesn't seem to line up with the pedal correctly and it sticks out a long way into the engine bay, and also when i bolt the master on it seems to sit very high... any ideas!!

there is no difference at all...... the only difference in the booster is the fact that the turbo/v8 one was a double dirfram and the non turbo was a single.... thats the only difference between them both....

u can't put the booster bracket upside down cause the holes are offset, if i did have it upside down it wouldn't even bolt up.. everything is all bolted up etc... my master and booster are both brand new from holden! i have it sorted now i think!!

osky osky osky whats doin man , i just went and dummied mine up in the engine bay and it looks perfect , and even if the bracket was upside down , which if it was it would actually angle the booset downward moreso , it would still fit. i might come over on monday and check it out

though having it on the wrong way might make it not line up with the pedal bro , as the bottom of the master cylindar end will be lower therefore the lever thing that adjoins the pedal will be higher

Your talking about the bracket behind the booster, the one that bolts to the firewall? Ive put one on upside down before and bolted it in only to realise it was sitting too high and the rod that goes onto the pedal too low.

pete the bracket goes on in that upward position doesnt it , so if u turn it around accidently , the booster and m/c will actually angle/sit lower , and the rod will be higher , therefore it wont go onto the pedal. thats how mine is anyway.
