they're a big heavy diff, especially for a VL, have you tried a VLT or V8 28 spline 4 pinion diff?

the price ppl want for second hand 9"s you can buy brand new setups for the same price keep in mind for a reasonable 9" you will be looking in the 1-2 thousand dollars BRAND NEW plus axles, and you have exactly what you pay for...

it costs 2000 plus to get axles shortened and made to order etc it wont just cost 1000 - 2000 say 3500 - 4500 grand to get it ready for a VL just remember you got to customise your tailshaft also to suit the diff and gearbox your running thats also about 700 -1000 bucks

If you have someone that knows what they are doing you can chop a nine inch housing and fit it onto a VL housing. You can then buy a nine inch yoke that is the same pattern as a VL tail shaft. This will all bolt into your car without any tail shaft modifications or other changes.
Duz360 if you are still interested in a 9" to fit a VL PM me. I know of one that is for sale for a good price. It will bolt straight in, the diff is all new wheel bearings etc, and has never been fitted to a car. It come with an open wheel 3:1 centre. Cut and re splined F-truck axles. Full disc brake.
