My car out of rego at the moment, and its got to go for rego here in QLD. Previously it was registered in NSW. So my question is how hard do they look at your car before the approve your rego? I havn't modded my car that much (yet, <evil laugh>) except for VT brakes. Do they even look at the brakes up here? When I got it registered in NSW the pulled me for about $1000 worth of work, so I'm not looking forward to doing this again. If anyone can tell me of a 'friendly' place to get my car inspected in the brisbane area that would be cool! Any help apreciated

you just need to pass a roadworthy, just find a friendly mechanic, I got to do it as well had the car for about 4 months and still got it sitting in NSW rego!!!!

Yeah get a 'legit' roadworthy and then when you take it in to transport some geeban from behind the counter (I had a young chick do it once) comes out and asks you where the engine number is. Verifies that and the VIN and away you go. Have absolutely no idea what they are looking at. Is all cool up here brother!

choose mechanic wisely make sure u state ova and ova again its ur car u ARE NOT selling it u just want to tranpher to QLD rego and u should be right if ur real worried go a mobile saftey cert. guy can put it up on a hoist that wat.... as long as u tell em its nsw u just wanna change it they should be cool.... if ur on the northside i can give u a guys number its 70-80 bucks.

My car is in fairly decent shape, the only thing I'm a bit nervous about is the VT brakes. So once you get your car registered up here thats it? No more inspections / random anal probing?

vt brakes should be all good here most kunts wont even know and yep , no ass rapings here unless you go to stockymcstock's house

Just an update for you guys.... I took my car in for Road Worthy yesterday. The mechanic noticed that the brakes were non standard but he passed my car anyway. He asked about where I got them, now much they cost, what mods needed to be done to fit them etc.... Turns out the mechanic has a mate who has a VLT.
