ok its time to get off my ass and get a rebuild happening for my vl... i get my license back in less than 12 months so better start saving now.. what am i up for? any good recommendations build wise? pistons? it'll be an rb30 with a t3/4 hi-flow turbonetics item. what forgies? bearings? rough price? i wanna run low 11's... manual too. i have the clutch sorted with a daiken-excedy 5 puck clutch.. but 'box needs a rebuild too.. anyone in melbourne with a good name for these? it ran mid 11's before i fuxed the engine.. the harmonic balancer came loose and the keyway in the crank was chewed out.. irrepairable. already got a head n cam, with porting done, avo stage II cooler... i'm prepared to spend up to 6-7000 getting it back on the road.. its just a car with no driveline atm!

haha rubin u make ma laugh !!!! he just said hes already had headwork done... !! Forgies, nissan rings, nissan bearings, shot peened rods, arp rod bolts, nitrided crank, o-ringed block, head stud kit. and have everything balanced.. get new lifters for when u put the head back together too ur hybrid turbo should still do the job, but like rubin said, if u got extra cash left over.. a bb turbo would be sweet, with external gate welded to ur mani. goodluck with it. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
