Im bored so i thought i might show u guys my missus. lol Its a 1988 VL Turbo. This is the car when i bought it. The car had recived a full rebuild done by Dynamotive, a $20,000 dollar recipt was supplied for that. Mods included - T03 High Flow turbo, custom front mount intercooler, Microtech L-t8 EMS, stage 2 shift kit, 3000 high stall, mini spool diff with 3.9's, custom blue with white pearl paint, asteroid silver bumpers and side bars, big fuel pump, malpassi regulator, new fuel lines, oil catch can, bla bla bla... lots more that i cant think of. Anyway, 4 days after i bought the car i spun a big end bearing. Without putting the blame on anyone - the ****wit who tuned the car had set the timing unbelievably and dangerously high, and cunningly put a pin code lock on the microtech. So out goes the wallet, and in goes another rebuild, this time i wanted a proper job, new crank, new bearings, new rods, port polished, pistons worked, new rings, bored, o-ringed what eva they called it... and while i was there, decided to upgrade my turbo to a brand spanking new T04 High Flow It came to tuning time, so i called up the Br... i mean, the workshop with the lock on the computer, and they quoted me a stunningly ugly figure to tune the car. So i went to the Rajabs, and after half a day of hagling the other workshop for the pin, who were stubborn and didnt want to give it to me coz they knew i was at Rajabs, i ended up going there and arguing for it, so they put it in, and reset the timimng to such a high figure, that if i hit high boost just once on the way back to Rajabs i would have blown my engine. The Rajabs looked after me very very very very well, and tuned the car beautifully. The car pulled 12.831@105.55mph down the 1/4 with the old T03 on re-treads. Now with the current T04 Highflow and some new injectors, i should see low 12's maybe better. Future plans: new EMS lookin at MOTEC or HALTECH, bigger injectors, Custom Plenium (probly the new RAJAB one), forget pistons and better cam, and a set of slicks....... ...................................Money Talks.......
