Hey guys my turbo is **** it doesn't work any more so I'll be needing to get it rebuilt or possibly buy a new one I'm just tryin to suss my options etc and I would like your realistic opinions on what you would do and how much you'd expect to pay... it's a high flowed t3. Also I have a list of workshops that I'm considering, I'd appreciate any positive or negative* (* in PM only please) feedback on these places, or if anyone knows anyone, hook me up aiight Here's the shops... please add to the list if I'm missing anyone worth going to. Turbo Brisbane Turbo Torque (definately the most helpful decent fella on phone) Motsons Brisbane Turbo&Tuning Mike Vine Dynamic Turbo thanks fellas Jay P.S My turbo has a serial number engraved on it - TSS 18998... does anyone know who's serial number this is or can shed any light on its meaning ? no matter who u take it to , dynamics will get the complete centre shaft/wheels , as they are about the only ppl who have a correct balancing machine. so if you take it to someone they will strip it , send half of it away to dynamics , get it back , rebuild it and charge a little bit extra. just take it to dynamics first.

i too was under the impression that dynamic was now turbo torque. it cost me $1500 to get a toyota surf turbo rebuilt with new wheels and housings and blanced so a t3 would cost as much. ring up GCG to see what second hand ones they got . i see they had a wastegated t04 for sale for $1500. but yeah if u can save up a bit extraand get a gt30 and plonk a wastegate on top of the standard manifold and ur car wll run easy 11's

fag, I got mine rebuilt at MTQ, robert there was real helpful, they know their shi!t, my TO4e cost $1450 to rebuild and all that remainded was the covers as everything else was shagged, and it was quick to done in less then a week. stop being a cheap ass and go buy a decent turbo. or just use your sisters setup as that little poof won't have his car on the road for a while!!!

Dynamic turbo is the same place as MTQ, same number and address. Turbo torque used to be another one of their branches, but has since closed and they all operate out of the same building at salisbury.
