hey all just doing some research for my torana buddies, some might know the torana club up here in newcastle held a all holden day 2 years or so ago. well where looking at doing it again. where gunna block off the whole foreshore in newcastle(that outa piss of the 4cyl jabba's) and get brocky, larry perkins or someone to come. every car will get a trophy and there will be no judging. when we done it last time we had over 350 cars and we had over 5000 people come to look. and yay i got to drive brocky to the airport.
my question is how many people wopuld be interested in coming? they seen all the cars intown on sunday from the estate cruise and asked me to see if many of the quote "sweet" vls would be interested in comming.

if its after november (which id say it will be as it would take some organising) Ill be there. What sort of standard are they looking for from the cars? Mines nothing special.

What looks better then a VL? I think the Answer is 2 VL's
boys as long as it is a holden it is good enough. the "sweet" quote wasnt ment to say we only want good cars it was more of a compliment to the calais estate cruise and vls in general. it would probably be half way or so through next year as 87 calais said there is a hell of a lot of organising and it has only just started.

If your want to come to newcastle, and you have an Auto, you need to Turn your idle up... so you can just Idle around the Foreshore,
and try not to run over any little Swifts or Mitsu's the may be small cars, but they still get stuck in your Grill
Sweet as I'm in...we need a date and everybody can spread the word...got a few things to add to the cal(including the brakes i got today, so i'm excited) so if i wana fit in i guess i need a cooler too.......lol
Sounds like a great day, maybe even do a fundraiser and donate to a charity so the cops leave us alone......even ask the police to bring a brand new highway patrol and put it on show too, just so they dont feel left out....I know a copper that would be in on that, i will ask him next time he pulls me up.
