OK, guys and gals...
Sirgeo has said that it should be fine to use www.calaisturbo.com.au (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au) for our display on shirts and a banner.
So we need to finalise the design of the shirts, and start a design of a banner.
I think it should use the calais turbo logo at the top of this page. So if your good with photoshop, start designing away!
The site might even chip in a pay for the banner, as it can be used for future WA events!!!
Other than that, this is a list of other things that we need to sort out.
1) Marquee or Tent, otherwise we will all get sunburnt like lobsters. Does any one have something that may suit??? it will need to be able to sit 15 - 25 or so people underneeth it. If everyone organises their own chairs that would be good.
2) Space - Pete is taking care of that. We will need enough space for all our cars, and the marquee etc... but will need to know how big the marquee will be to know exactly how much space to have.
3). BBQ... I think this is a must... I have one I can bring down.... If everyone brought their own meat, then it would be cheaper than food at the plex.
4). Large Esky... To fill up with cans of soft drink that we may all chip in and buy. This will be cheaper than buying drinks at the plex...
5). TV and or stereo???? Just a thought, but then we can watch movies etc....

What I propose is that we have a proper meeting before the next cruise somewhere. Sit down and discuss all these idea's and work out what is actually going to happen.... then we take off on the cruise. So everyone keep the 3rd of October free, and we will do that. Im organising the cruise, so any suggestions on where we can meet up and talk about this?? Yesterdays cruise was ok, but we really didn't talk about what we wanted to do, partly as we cruised 1st and everyone wanted to eat or go.
Try not to clog this thread up with pointless phrases that contain the words "ginboy" and "your mum", and jokes about bringing your own meat.
If someone has the complete list of entrants, can they post it here?

Ok well since I missed yesterday I don't have much idea on whats going on. Is the site powered for a TV and Stereo? Or we gonna be running batteries all day long? Good idea though, be great to have DVD's and tunes going. Maybe a playstation if someone has one? hehe. Can you post up that list Jess?

my uncle is state manager for MEAT AND LIVESTOCK AUSTRALIA, and we get that much meat for free its unbelievable, so just give me a list of what meat we will need and ill sought it out.

Chains are a tough one, but at the same time, we will all be taking our cars out at different times, depending on what events each person is doing. Im only doing the super cruise, but there is driving events, dyno comp, sound off etc... and so people will be coming and going all the time, so the chains might be a waste of time, as we would have to pull em down every 5 mins.....
If we were having a static display, where the cars didn't move, I'd say yeah, but as we will be moving our cars, it may not be worth it...
Food for thought anyway... I'll talk to some of the ppl in CCCWA as to what we did last year....
I rekn the tent / marquee should be in the middle, and the cars going around it, that way we can all keep an eye on our cars....
Im gonna see if I can borrow my old mans bedford van for the weekend, to store **** in.... Its pretty big....
so we need a large esky and the tent / marquee...... Anyone??
I got a good stainless steel esky that can hold ice for a couple of days. It wont be big enough for everything but if a couple of us bring an esky we'll be right. I got a good coleman one too I can bring so thats two. Probably need a couple more for the meat etc. (Any word on the power supply?)

i might be able to snag my grandparents car fridge which can be hooked up to power so we can freeze the meat. but i have to ask them real nice.
i can supply a TV and a stereo. im only going on the super cruise aswell so ill only leave the site to stick my grubby fingers on the other clubs cars but most of the time ill hang around the club site.
