sorry guys for starting another thread on this topic, yes i did search but found nothing that answers my exact question. Now my car has just been broken into etc. damn scums forced my ignition barrel out with a screw driver and now im left to buy and install a new one, ive got a genuine holden one and have tried quickly to install it myself but didnt want to break anything.... how easy is it to install one of these yourself is it difficult any tips or procedures to go through? thanks for any input Jay

HAve you got the old barrel out? If so then they way to do it is to get your new ignition switch and turn they key until the little tag on the side or the barrel (about 8-10mm) is able to be pushed in. Then it is a matter of then just fiddling around til you get it in... it is easiest to do with the combo switch removed...
