First meeting at Warny is on the same weekend as Casterton this year. Hate to say it but I don't they will get many turn up at the Warrnambool meeting on the 28th. Casterton weekend is officially the 27th and 28th of November...

Springnats is the same weekend. That is going to be stupid, casterdon and warrnambool drags plus the springnats. hmm warrnambool is going to be quite on the drag strip that day. I won't look like a tool in front of so many people when my car breaks down on the strip.

Well it seem that the boy's in Casterton have finally come to their senses and changed the dates so that it does not conflict with the Warrnambool meeting. I will confirm dates soon but It looks like they have moved it to the 6th and 7th of November.

I've got one but I don't know if I want to sell it just yet. It's in my spare VL Berlina shell. I really still need it to roll the car around on while I am doing it up. It will be for sale when I have finished, but I can't imagine that will be until next year some time.

Nah, not making a drag car just replacing the shell of the one I have now because it has to much rust. I picked up the complete Berlina 5Ltr shell minus the gearbox and motor only (rest of car complete) for a bargain price. All electrics, very straight, no rust. Already have complete Calais interior and paint chosen. Just have to swap over all my gear into the new shell and paint it...

Just to anyone one that is interested, there was approx 40 - 50 car competing today, including myself and scott (VL383), there was about 9 Turbocharged cars ranging from VL's to 180sx etc After about 6 runs the best I could pull was a 10.134 @ 63.38MPH with a fair bit of wheelspin off the line

Not a very well run meet, they never even got to finish the finals. But I did run my quickest time ever 7.36 @ 93 mph.

Yeah I agree scott, the track surface off the line was fairly slippery, last run i did i took off and alll i had was wheelspin. but yeah they stuffed my timing up with the bloke i went up against, and as for finniishing at 4pm of whatever that was stupid, they could have organised to have the airport all day, how long till your strip in portland will be ready, I take it most of the surface has been put down?.. Someone said yester day WADDRA are supposed to be goin to build a 1/4 mile strip?????
