My series 1 VL Calais originally started life as an RB30E auto. I purchased the car 3 years ago and got a bit sick of the lack of power so I bit the bullet and decided to upgrade... Current specs: RB25DET engine R33 5 speed gearbox 3" exhaust from turbo back into single rear muffler front mount intercooler w/custom stainless steel piping King Ultra Low springs all round Monroe shortened front struts, Pedders rear shocks VT twin piston brakes, slotted 296mm rotors 17" AJR copies autometer boost gauge splitfire tacho Its currently running 8psi. And some pics: Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

thanks for the feedback update: Boost controller has been purchased and is now running 10-11psi. Reason for the modest boost level before (8psi) was due to the engine still being under warranty. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Would definitely recommend the RB25, I'm stoked with how its panned out. I haven't driven an RB30ET but have been a passenger before in one but it's a bit hard to comment on the differences. But if you are thinking of converting from the RB30E to the 25 then do it, i don't regret it one bit!
