so i have to remove the brake booster and master cylinder and the bottom of the dash to get to the brake pedal? and then remove 2 bolts holding the steering column so i can disconnect it and remove and install the new pedal box? thanks

Hey warpzOr. Question. Why do you want to remove the pedal box? It is much easier to do just the pedals. Undo the steering column near the ign. switch (two bolts). Take the dash cluster out. The brake pedal has two clips holding it. One on each side. Take both clips off and slide the pivot pin out to the right. The clutch pedal only has one clip holding it, and it slides out to the left. I have done two conversions and the second one took less than an hour to remove brake pedal and replace with brake and clutch pedals. If you have a Gregorys book or some thing similar you may be able to see from the pics if it has some. Dont forget to take out the pushrod from the brake pedal to master cyl. When inserting the pedal pivot pins, make sure you lubricate them, and they have a flat spot in them so they only go in one way. It is a little complicated, but once you see it, it is fairly straight forward. If you have any probs, you can call me. [phone removed]. Good luck with it all.

you don't have to change the box at all. all the mounts are still there.. just add the clutch pedal and either change or cut the existing brake pedal.

When i changed mine to a manual i had to drop the whole steering column out to get the old auto brake pedal box out & new clutch/brake pedal box in.

I think the next person to do this should take pics of the process and post up a thread in the technical section.

When I did my conversion I replaced the whole pedal box and let me tell you that it was a farkn b|tch!! I also had to take out the steering column. I had to re-route the stereo wires as well because I ran the wires thru when the clutch oil filler is.
