I just put in Kings lowered springs in the rear of my car along with brand new gabrielle shortened shockies and Im 100% sure I put everything back together the right way, but now when you push down on the back of the car there is a squeaking sound coming from the bottom of the springs and I want to know what you guys think it could be from. Ive done a search and couldnt find anything. Im sure the insulators are in properly cause the drivers side bottom one was sitting inside the old spring. So I made sure they were sitting properly. Any ideas???
could be handbrake cable. But check what your Lower Control Arm Bushes are like, they are one of the most common things that cause squeeking sounds in the rear
yeah I thought of that after I posted it, but I dont want to take it all apart again. thanks for the help guys.
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
if it only started to squeak after u lowered it and it's not something rubbing like the handbrake cable then try loosening the bolts for the control arm bushs and then retightening them with the weight on the suspension, this will allow the bushes to sit without being pre twisted.
