A few weeks ago i awoke at 530am to police knocking on my door telling me my VLCT had been stolen and luckily didnt get very far... was left in the middle of the road only 100m away
The only damage done was smashed window, head unit and sub missing...luckily they couldnt get it started therefore pushing down the road left behind some rather nice fingerprints for the cops to work from...
Is it possible to claim insurance on the home and contents policy due to it being on the property when it was stolen..(was not on the street or footpath)...
Just thought it was worth looking into a bit more..As many people have been suggesting this option.. cheers adam.
I don't believe this is an option.
Do you have a 'fire & theft' benefit on ur car insurance policy?
You'd have an XS to pay, but at least the damage/theft would be covered.

As Russell said - NO!
But if it's locked up etc, this will help when insuring your vehicle $$$ wise and also the location area (posh or scum etc)
