you could import a car from Japan. Usually 5k cheaper than here plus usually have some form of mods already done! Import costs are included. Only problem is car has to be at least 15 years old.

If you want to be creative then build up your own car.
Imports are like assholes every ****s got one these days.
I like old skool cars why not a Datsun 120Y with SR20 or Mazda 323 13B Turbo.
Not new but at least you will be a individual with your own car.
VS 5 litres suck a few mates have them and even they are getting sick of them.

definately the 180sx turbo is the way to go, theyre getting more popular round here, get the one with the 96 rear end sr20det engine not the older ca18.
After my bro got one, my dad had to have one and sold his motor bike for one(after being a rida for over 30 years and seing the power, economy and reliability in the 180). just take one for a test drive(if you havnt already) and your decision will be made.
also these cars are easy to modify, from stock to being a 10 second car 3-4k is only needed to be spent.
also you live in melbourne, KAMAKAZE motors(importers), in ringwood next to Bunnings off Maroonday HWY, theyre very good and so are theyre prices any more info on this ...pm me.

Get a 180sx or R32 GTS-4 turbo and then spend the spare couple of g's on mods.

My mate is selling his VS 5ltr. It's a white one. It's got a worked motor (190kw's at the rears), heavily worked Auto, LSD, and a few other things. He want's $14G's for it. PM me if you're interested.

03-08-04, 15:32 GMT+10#10 If you like sedans have a look at a Nissan Cefiro. There aren't many in Australia and they are now very cheap under the 15yo import rules. If you hunt around you can get a turbo 5sp (RB20DET) for about $7-8k. These car look good and are loaded with features. Being an RB motor it doesn't take much to get them going too.

05-08-04, 14:00 GMT+10#20 Hmm how about a 1994 BMW Coupe?
Not much go, but with some 18's and dark tint it'd be a nice cruise.
Otherwise I'd buy a VN SS and spend the remainder on a CAPA Vortech Supercharger kit.
