imn ot exactly sure what ur asking but i think i do, the block (besides s1 no lines for turbo etc) the crank the rods bears etc are all exactly the same. but there is debate im told that the gudgen pin bearing is made from different material to turbo rods. either way they both do fine. so your answer would be ok but only for the bottom end the top ends are different hope i helped u

the actual motors are the same, except for the turbo having a different oil pump, pistons and cam.you also need to make sure the block has plug where your oil return line goes into the block, and where the water line come from.supposedly s1 na motors dont have this. obviously you would need to swap manifolds and stuff

arr thanks for the info. what i wanna do is buy another engine and build it up with forgies and stuff then do a engine transplant. u would get new gudgon pins when ya brought pistons wouldnt ya??? and if i use the n/a head and got it ported and stuff it would be the same as the turbo wouldnt it i would be getting a different cam and stuff so it should be ok hey???

Im sure the NA head has different cams and i think also the head makes the compression sweet for turbo. if u are worried about the head get a RB25 head on there it would probley cost either the same or less then getting the NA head up to Turbo spec or better.
